Welcome!

Our house is a five story historic brownstone mansion located in the Back Bay of Boston. The front of our house is on Beacon Street, while the rear windows look out over the Charles River Basin. We are three blocks from shopping and dining on Newbury Street, four blocks from the Prudential Center and Copley mall, six blocks from Copley Square and the Boston Public Library, and eight blocks from the Public Gardens and Boston Commons. Boston University, MIT, and downtown Boston are also well within walking distance. The nearest T stop is Hynes Convention/ICA (4 blocks), and the #1 and CT1 bus stop on the corner of Beacon Street and Massachusetts Avenue (less than one block).

Where is Pi Lambda Phi?
Pi Lambda Phi is located in the heart of Back Bay, about 1 mile from Boston Common, near the Prudential Center and Newbury Street, and across the Harvard Bridge from MIT and Cambridge.
What is the rate?
$990 for quads. $1190 for triples. $1390 for doubles. Rates are for the entire summer
When can I move in?
Summer roomers can move in on May 23rd. Summer roomers must move out by August 21st.
What rooms are available?
We have doubles, triples, and quads currently available.
Can I take a house tour?
Yes, we encourage all summer roomers to visit the house before making their decision. Please contact Harrison Chen at (978) 835-8557 or chenh@mit.edu to arrange a suitable time.
When do I have to pay?
1/3 of the money is due at deposit. 1/3 is due at move in. 1/3 is due during the middle of the summer. Your room is reserved upon receipt of the 1/3 deposit.
Is Pilam clean?
Pilam is kept clean through biweekly house cleanings by brothers.
Is Pilam near the T or bus??
Pilam is a five minute walk from Hynes Convention Center on the Green line and a one minute walk from the #1 bus.
Who will I be living with?
You will be living with Pilam brothers and their friends and other girls. Pilams are friendly and sociable and will definitely hang out.
Can I do laundry there?
Yes, laundry, dryer, and detergent are provided free of charge.
Will there be any social activities?
Yes, we have numerous parties throughout the summer as well as a Fourth of July party with a perfect view of the fireworks.
