The house is located along the Charles River at 450 Beacon Street in Boston — a short walk away from the main MIT campus in Boston's historic Back Bay neighborhood. Our four story brownstone offers a magnificent view of the river to the north, and downtown Boston to the south. Our rooftop offers an amazing view of the MIT campus.
Our house is very close to the Mass Ave bus station, which means it's very easy to get to MIT or Harvard (One Bus). The Boston East Saferide also stops less than a block away on Massachusetts Avenue and Beacon Street. Moreover, we are a five minute walk from Newbury Street and the Prudential Center, so you'll have quick access to restaurants, stores, and groceries. Finally, the Green Line T-Station is nearby as well, which is a great way to get to other parts of Bosto.
Inside the house, you'll find many amenities, including a full-sized pool table, a grand piano, HDTVs, and numerous games including an arcade machine. In addition, our library contains many of the required textbooks for classes, as well as a variety of books for casual reading. We also offer to summer residents the following:
